Cherating Sojourn
Got a few test shots from our trip to Kuantan and Cherating Thursday/Friday. Arrived too late on Thursday to do any shooting, but got a few decent shots the next day. Will have to delete a whole bunch of photos, I got like a million shots of sunrise and the sea. Particularly excited about the series of wave shots - using multi clicks on Sports setting.
The sunrise photos didn't turn out too well, mainly because i hadn't discovered the ISO button at that point, and I had forgotten how to mount the camera on the tripod. Sad la you! So all the ones using long exposure turned out shaky. Bwahahahaha... What to do.. haven't even had the chance to familiarise with the machine le...

One of the things I was looking for - the translucent cresting waves just before it collapses.
A particularly big wave crashing to shore.
I want to do time series shots of the waves, but am very sleepy by now. Will do it later. Good night!!!

Kittens to give away...
These two idiots were from my sister's work parking lot. Their other siblings and mom were hit by a car and motorcycle 2 months ago so my sis took them in. We're trying to find them homes but you know la, everyone wants long-haired cute cats with flat noses. Domestic cats are so underrated... They often make the most loving companions you'll ever find.
Captain is a male, very playful and robust. He has a crooked tail and looks well on the way to be a very handsome cat. We don't spend any money on cat toys because these two terrors would play with ANYTHING. Dry leaves, bottle caps, plastic forks, anything that bounces or rolls or makes noise will keep them entertained. Oh yes, my wooden vase of flowers. They LOVE playing with that. I scold them for walking all over my plants on the balcony, but they really liven up the place.
Dinah is female. Her colouring may look messy, but she has the prettiest cinnamon highlights in her coat. Plus, it's amazing how her face is split into two right in the middle. I wanted to call her Two-Face but somehow that's just not quite right.... She's such a sweet darling and likes spending time with her humans. She's as playful as her brother, she even climbs up my clothes just to catch the end of my scarf sometimes!
I really hope to find these sweethearts a forever home. They're really good cats; toilet trained and dewormed; AND eligible for free neutering when the time comes. Know anyone who might want a new friend? Contact me at noorazura.ahmad(at)gmail.com.
